Expedition Audacity Research Foundation is launching its next groundbreaking mission—an 8 to 10-month sailing expedition from Greece to the Azores, Faroe Islands, Iceland, and beyond. Supported by Sylvia Earle and Mission Blue, our eco-friendly research vessel will collect critical genetic and environmental data in some of the world's most vulnerable marine ecosystems.

Funding from this campaign will enable us to:

• Conduct Pioneering Marine Research: Utilize rapid genetics collection technologies to monitor biodiversity hotspots and identify species at risk.
• Advance Climate Change Solutions: Provide open-access data to researchers and conservationists to drive global action.
• Support Local and Indigenous Communities: Collaborate on sustainable solutions that benefit both people and ecosystems.
• Operate Eco-Friendly Sailing Expeditions: Maintain and equip our 30m research vessel with cutting-edge scientific tools and equipment.
• Inspire Ocean Advocacy: Share findings through educational initiatives, documentaries, and public engagement campaigns.
• Educational Outreach: Engage schools and community groups worldwide with interactive marine science sessions, fostering curiosity and environmental stewardship in young learners. Done through weekly live broadcasts from the field to over 1000 students worldwide.
• Make-A-Wish Project: Bring joy and hope to a critically ill children by fulfilling their dream, aboard our vessel we will be hosting a child and their family for a one of a kind Narwhal Research Expedition with Dr Martin Nweeia in Baffin Bay August 2025.
• Children's Hospital VR Project: Create captivating virtual reality experiences that transport hospitalized children to vibrant marine ecosystems, giving them a window to the wonders of the ocean for their beds.
• Collegiate Ecosystem Partnerships: Foster collaborations with underrepresented universities with limited resources and research institutions to mentor students, share data, and empower the next generation of marine scientists.
• Hope Spots with Sylvia Earle: Work with Mission Blue to designate and protect new Hope Spots—special places critical to ocean health—while raising awareness about the urgent need for marine conservation.
