At Expedition Audacity, we believe that diverse perspectives and fresh ideas are essential for advancing marine research, conservation, and technological innovation. That’s why we are committed to creating meaningful opportunities for students and researchers from under-resourced areas and underrepresented communities. By fostering partnerships with universities that uphold strong academic standards but have limited resources, we aim to empower the next generation of ocean stewards.
Through our Expedition Audacity Collegiate Ecosystem, we provide priority access to all our programs and onboard opportunities for students, graduates, faculty, and research projects from partner institutions. This initiative connects promising talent with hands-on research and conservation experiences, equipping them with the skills needed to address pressing environmental challenges.
For partners whose campuses are along our route or conducting research in our expedition areas, we proudly organize local community and research events. These gatherings not only highlight groundbreaking work in our documentaries but also serve as valuable fundraising opportunities for both your programs and ours, fostering collaboration and amplifying impact.
As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, Expedition Audacity never asks our partners for funding or donations. Use of our vessel—including room and board while onboard—is always free of charge. While travel to and from the vessel and out-of-pocket research expenses remain your responsibility, we are committed to supporting your fundraising efforts in any way we can. Whether through our social media channels or leveraging our network, we are here to help.
Our collaborative approach strengthens participating universities by sharing resources, data, and expertise across partner programs. Together, we create a dynamic ecosystem where students and researchers can thrive, innovate, and contribute to protecting marine ecosystems and biodiversity.
We are always eager to expand our network and welcome inquiries from institutions interested in joining this initiative. If your university or program would like to learn more about becoming a partner, please reach out using the contact form below. Let’s work together to inspire change and build a healthier future for our oceans.
Pushing the Frontiers of Environmental Exploration and Conservation
Our audacity knows no bounds. With visionary advisors and friends like Sylvia Earle, Fabien Cousteau, Kelly Walsh, George Kourounis, and Guinness World Record Hall of Famer Erden Eruc, neither does our crew. While our journey may harness the power of wind and waves, our commitment to safeguarding biodiversity and restoring ecological balance drives us into every imaginable frontier.
If your research demands scaling mountains, exploring volcanic craters, navigating underwater caves, or even coordinating satellite-based studies—rest assured, we likely know someone who can make it happen. No challenge is too great, no destination too remote, and no mission too daring. We exist to turn bold ideas into actionable solutions, rallying a global network of adventurers, scientists, and innovators to redefine what’s possible in protecting and preserving our world.
