This role will support our mission to “share, collaborate, and document” the scientific, cultural, and nautical explorations of Expedition Luminescence with students worldwide. Through building interactive, dynamic content, you’ll help shape how students engage with expedition research, STEAM topics, and cultural studies.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development: Design a full STEAM+ curriculum that reflects expedition research and discoveries.
• Community Collaboration: Work with on-board researchers, local communities, and educators to build inclusive learning spaces.
• Resource Production: Create and distribute weekly thematic articles, live videos, and activity guides for educators.
• Program Coordination: Facilitate interactive projects with classrooms and manage two participation levels, “EA Cohort” and “Lumi Learners,” providing resources tailored to each group’s needs.
• Multilingual Support: Coordinate with bilingual crew members to produce content in various languages, including French, Spanish, Hindi, and others.

Interns must be physically fit, as they will spend at least 50% of their time training on deck with the sailing crew.
